We are looking for a web application developer who will develop interactive web user interfaces in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc., that present analytic insights to our customers on how well their buildings are using energy and what they can do to reduce their energy bills as well as to provide a better and healthier environment for buildings’ occupants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for developing new components of an interactive web application
  • Develop responsive web application
  • Implement, test, and bug fix functionality
  • Provide support for software releases
  • Participate in Agile development using Scrum
  • Deliver tangible results and meet project schedules
  • Suggest enhancements of existing components that contribute towards achieving the product goals
  • Be open to learning

What we’d like to see:

  • Strong web UI development skills including HTML5, CSS3 (Media Queries), Javascript (AngularJS, JQuery), AJAX, JSON, Websocket
  • Experience with RESTful application development
  • Know how to modularize your code and keep it loosely coupled
  • Responsible attitude towards dependency updates
  • Passionate about mastering web application development
  • Adoption of the latest technologies in the field of the web and mobile development

It will be considered a distinct advantage if you have:

  • Fluency in English language
  • Experience with the functional programming paradigm (Scala, Play framework)
  • Experience with mobile (Android and iOS) development
  • Experience with developing interactive web applications
